Invincible Season 3 Subtly Reintroduces The Comic Character Cut From A Previous Episode
Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Invincible season 3, episode 7!
Invincible season 3, episode 7 introduced all kinds of new superheroes, including one popular Image Comics character that was cut from a previous episode. Up until now, Amazon Prime Video's Invincible had avoided utilizing Image Comics crossover characters, with it being explained that using some of the characters featured in the comics was difficult due to rights issues. While this was made clear ever since Invincible season 1, it is obvious that Amazon Prime Video must have figured it out, as many of the missing characters were present in Invincible season 3, episode 7.
Invincible season 3, episode 7 is the long-awaited adaptation of the Invincible War, one of the most epic storylines from the comics. The Invincible War was being built up throughout season 3, with the post-credits scenes of Angstrom Levy and Invincible season 3's title card gag hinting at it. In episode 7, Angstrom Levy returns to Mark Grayson's Earth with an army of evil Invincibles from different universes. These Invincibles begin to wreak havoc on Earth, with Mark and Cecil realizing they need help from a lot more heroes if they want to survive.
After Cutting Him From Cecil's Backstory, Invincible Season 3 Introduces Brit
As Part Of The Invincible War
One of the characters that was introduced in Invincible season 3, episode 7 is Brit, a character that fans of the Invincible comics are familiar with. Brit is an Image Comics crossover character, with him being one of the most prominently featured characters in the Invincible comics that didn't originate from Invincible. Brit is an immortal super soldier, with him being one of the hardest to kill characters in the Image Comics universe. Brit has been cut from several storylines in the Invincible TV show, with this even occurring earlier in season 3.

Who Voices Conquest In Invincible Season 3
Invincible season 3, episode 7 finally introduces Conquest, with the show revealing what actor will be voicing the beloved Viltrumite villain.
Invincible season 3 showed Cecil Stedman's backstory, with him fighting two villains before nearly dying when they release a toxic gas. In the show, Cecil is rescued by a group of nameless GDA soldiers. In the comics, however, Cecil is rescued by Brit. Brit is a close friend of Cecil throughout Invincible, with the duo working together plenty of times in the comics. It was assumed that Brit was cut from Cecil's backstory due to the aforementioned Image Comics rights issues, but since he appeared in episode 7, it is odd that he didn't appear just a few episodes earlier.
Brit's Role In The Invincible War Explained
He Helps The Heroes Of Earth
Brit was finally brought into the Invincible TV show as part of its adaptation of the Invincible War storyline. In season 3, episode 7, Cecil Stedman realizes that the world will not survive the onslaught of evil Invincibles. Thus, he calls for the help of every known hero on Earth. These include Image Comics crossover characters like Wolf-Man, Capes, Inc., and Brit. Brit is more prominently featured than some of the other Image Comics crossover characters, with this being due to his significance in the comics and his friendship with Cecil.
Although Cecil stays behind to coordinate a defense from the GDA headquarters, Brit and Donald are sent out onto the field together. Brit and Donald can be seen fighting an evil Invincible, with them both surviving the attack. Brit uncovers the remains of Donald's body from the rubble. While barely anything is left of Donald's android skeleton, he is still alive, with Brit presumably taking him back to the GDA for repairs.
Brit Could Become An Important Character For Invincible's Future
Based On His Comic Book Future
Now that Brit is around in Amazon Prime Video's Invincible, he could become an important character for the show's future. In the Invincible comics, Brit is involved in almost every major storyline, meaning that he could be appearing a lot more in future episodes. Brit is often seen hanging around with Cecil and Donald, both of whom were introduced in Brit one-shots before appearing in proper Invincible comics.

All 18 Evil Mark Graysons In Invincible Season 3 & What Happens To Them
The Invincible War highlighted in Invincible season 3, episode 7 was fought between variants of Mark Grayson, with each meeting a dark fate.
Brit is less involved with the cosmic side of Invincible, which will be a bigger focus of the show as it heads into the Viltrumite War. However, there are still storylines that Brit will be involved with in future Invincible episodes. For example, Brit is a member of a future Guardians of the Globe team, something that will most likely be featured in the show. This means that viewers may get to see more interactions between Brit, Invincible, and Cecil, finally giving him some Invincible screentime after he was cut from previous episodes.
